Paint numbers on the top of cloths pegs.  Pin a short length of string to a wall so the line is secure and safe.  Your child can now clip the pegs to the line in numerical order.

 

Your child will probably find it easier to clip the pegs to a line so they hang upside down. 

This means the numbers should be written on the pegs so they can be viewed correctly.

Remember to use a permanent pen.

 

Learning to clip on a clothes peg is great for your child’s coordination.
